Panerai 42mm Radiomir Rose Gold Watch with Men’s Art

panerai-radiomir-42mm-rose-goldWhat’s the iconic trend of wristwatches in the upcoming season, big or small size? Black, yellow gold or rose gold case? Let me boldly say that rose gold is one breakout color in 2010. Panerai’s new addition of Radiomir Rose Gold watch must be a good sign.

The renowned watch maker Panerai will introduce an 18kt rose gold Radiomir in its new size of 42mm in January 2010. Compared to Panerai’s classic watches in black casing that will never go out of fashion, the new model looks more splendid and stunning. Besides, unlike Panerai’s standard timepieces ranging from 44mm to about 47mm wide, the new release represents their classic shape in 42mm wide. Though the size would even seem totally ordinary on any other watch – but for a Panerai it stands out. Besides the classic sports and royal character, the nice and chic look just makes the model suitable for any formal occasion as well.

The 42mm Redomir watch is fitted with new in-house made movement, the quite thin manually wound P’999 caliber that measures just 3.4mm at thickness. That is really much thinner than we expect in a Panerai. What’s more, it is completed by a dark coffee alligator leather strap with rose gold personalized tongue buckle.

In my opinion, the smaller watch just meets the Asian markets where much of the time a 40mm wide and under watch model is preferred. For those who want to change their common black wristwatch style, the rose gold model just comes into their taste.
